Who We Are
Bork curates art across Portland for people and places that want something real on their walls. We work with homeowners who feel intimidated by buying art but want their space to finally feel personal. We help vacation rental owners create an authentic Portland experience for their guests by filling their spaces with local work instead of generic prints. We support small bars, cafes, and local venues by managing their rotating shows so they can focus on running their business while we handle the curatorial side. We also take artists to street fairs and put their work directly into the world. Everything we do is about helping art find homes where it can be seen, appreciated, and experienced.
Who We Are Looking For
We want the egoless creatives. The painters, sculptors, photographers, textile artists, doodlers, and makers who rarely promote themselves. The artists who might not think they’re “ready” but whose work deserves to be on walls. Any medium is welcome. If it can hang, sit, lean, or be displayed, we want to see it.
Why Nominations Only
Some of the most powerful work comes from artists who aren’t comfortable putting themselves forward. Nominations help us find them. This keeps our community grounded in recognition, not self-branding.
How It Works
You submit an artist you believe in. We review their work and reach out if it aligns with our curatorial needs. Their art may be placed in homes, vacation rentals, small businesses, monthly rotating shows, or sold directly at street fairs and local events.

We take work in all states of "finishing". Loose papers don't scare us. We seek artists, not products (& can help with the rest).
We review every nomination with care & there is no cost to participate.
